My buddy Jeremy picked these kegs at auction for $10. I am going to turn the one SS keg into a 15 gallon brew kettle. Anyone know if I can return the 5-gallon keg for a deposit even though I wasn't the one that purchased it? I'd convert it into a fermenter, but I don't need another 5-gallon size. I am also considering what to do with the rubber covered keg. It is SS underneath, but it would be a pain to strip it. Maybe as a large fermenter.

I also added hooks to the wall of my workshop to start organizing everything. This simple organized setup shaved minutes of running around the house, looking for things when I did my first all-grain (I edited my previous Going All-grain post). BTW, the blue coffee containers hold my airlocks, mesh bags/clothes & stoppers.

I've added a shelf over the door to the left and, when I can, am building a tiered carboy shelf to hold my brews as the bubble.

Now that I moved to all-grain, I have to find room for even more stuff.

Yeah, I'm keeping these pics for reference. I'm building a new shed/brew barn in the Spring. Some place to keep all of this equipment organized. Nice!

Well, since this post, the smallest SS pot on the right as developed pinholes in it. I got one hole fixed by a guy at Illinois Central College, but when I noticed the other one, I knew it was time to give up.

Considering it was my first brewpot that I've had for almost 20 years, it is sort of sad. I'll have to give it a place of honor on my workshop wall. I now plan to cut the top off of the 5gal keg to use it has my hot liquor tank.

I've also developed a immersion chiller with a recirculating cooling system using pumps from Harbor Freight. It's able to cool 5gal of wort from boil to under 80deg in about 20 minutes. That is much faster than I was getting with hooking up the chiller to a garden hose. It just uses major amounts of ice.
