Man... I hate to rip on a brewery right out of the gates... But these guys really should have held their cards a little longer.

Hoops came over tonight with a 6er sampler from Hub City.  Its 6 different brews!  Wheat, Pale, Amber, Brown, Oatmeal, and Golden.

They all tasted like yeasty weirdness...  The wheat was the worst believe it or not!  I thought the Amber was the best of the bunch.  Hoops thought they all sucked.

The reason I hate to jump these guys... They are obviously new.  So, I hate to shit all over them on the first go round.  Breweries in the Midwest are few and far between.  You hope that a decent season gets these guys up and running with some money's (Yeah, we say money's in dealership lingo) to reinvest in recipes and ingredients.

Lets hope the future brightens for these guys!

You have found your Butternuts!

We HATED their beer and thrashed the shit out of them. Even revisited and they were still bad. One of their salesmen tried to bash us and failed miserably when I cot his contact information.

So, where's the video of you chuggin some of this Hub City shit.

I've had their sampler and poured a great deal of it down the drain. I liked the "golden", but it definitely wasn't a "golden" style.

It was like when I saw Poison in concert after starting my own band. I left the arena thinking, "Damn. If they can make it as shitty as they are, my band can make it!!!" If they can sell that crap and people buy it, my homebrew failures don't seem like failures.
