Alright so I as well got an I-touch and have been looking at Beer Apps mostly to rate and track beer and notes and to find out more info on the beers I drink any one find a good one? I have tried and few but nothing that great and really don't want to buy all the beer apps just to find one I would use. So far i have check out:

Beer Brands and Beer Guide (both are not that great)

I'm confused on what you want. Are you asking about software to where you can just keep notes on beer you have tried?

I just keep my notes online in Ratebeer.com and BeerAdvocate.com. I just went back a couple days ago to rate a beer I really liked and found I had already rated it. Software is *not* the place to investigate styles since there are hundreds of resources online. Tasting Beer by Randy Mosher is also an excellent, easy to understand book on all things beer.

If you are talking about software to guide brewing, I use BeerSmith. Have never tried Promash, but since it hasn't been updated to run on Vista 64 without jumping through a ton of hoops, I haven't tried it.

Got the book already is a great read.

Just saw that there were beer apps and have checked a few out and not found anything that great. I was just wondering if someone had come across a great app.

For now I will just keep using there internet sites.... that is till they have an app for that Smiley

Thanks and keep drinking or brewing beer!

Hey man... I am right there with ya.  I got an iPhone for Christmas and was wondering the same thing.

iBeers lite?  Has 2700+ beers rated??  1.99

Right now I am downloading the BJCP free app for beer styles.

I will let you know if its decent.
